Workshop :: ICAgile Certified Professional


  • This training program will help your team to understand of what Agile is all about, grow an Agile mindset and a strong practical skillset to bring Agile in your own team.

  • In this practical and interactive 14-hour online program, you will be working as a team, guided by experienced instructor(s), experiment with Agile practices covering a wide area of themes from navigating to change, exploring your customers and their needs, managing effectively your work and set up the foundation to continue your journey

    More specific our program is structure around five (5) learning labs

    Learning Lab I :: The age of agile

    In this first lab you will explore and understand the core agile principles and values and the mindset required to get the most out of various practices. We’ll explore how the agile movement has started and what it means to be and become an agile team and organization. 

    Learning Lab II ::  Framing and Planning your solutions

    In this lab, using a case study, we’ll explore practices to help you frame and plan your solution on your identified customer opportunities/problems/needs and transform them into tangible backlog items. We’ll explore techniques to better manage your backlogs related to backlog refinement, prioritization, estimation, requirements gatherings, decomposition of work items e.t.c

    Main learning objectives

    • Learn how to frame and plan your solutions using agile practices

    • Gain techniques for effectively managing backlogs, including refinement, prioritization, estimation, and requirement gathering, among others.

    Learing Lab III :: Making work visible and establishing agile interactions

    Our third lab is all about making work visible. We’ll co-design your workflows to visualize the different types of request as a team you need to manage from the time they are generated until value is delivered, measured, maintained, enhanced. You’ ’ll visualize your work and experience practices that could help you better manage the flow of our work and techniques to prioritize your portfolio

    Making work visible might be the 1st step to manage your work. What is needed on top of that is the agile interactions we need to introduce to keep your team aligned and focused on what matters most for your business and your customers. We’ll co-design the agile interactions you need to consider to refine your work, plan your work, remove your impediments, review the outcome of your work and improve as a team. 

    Main learning objectives

    • Learn how to design your workflows to make work visible and manage the flow of work using agile practices

    • Explore agile interactions that help keep your team aligned, focused, and able to refine, plan, review, and improve their work as a team.

    Learning Lab IV :: Experience flow, roles and responsibilities

    Our fourth lab is all about experience flow. As a team we will develop a shared understanding of how work works through a simulation. We’ll experience different practices, like limited work in progress, flow metrics, and various collaboration policies that enable learning, flow and value delivery. 

     We’ll go through the main elements of the two common frameworks being used to manage your work. Scrum and Kanban. it would be an opportunity to reflect on what those frameworks suggest on top of what you have already developed in your previous labs (experience first, theory next). You’ll explore the events, roles, artifacts and practices you could use to enhance your ways of working and processes.

    Main learning objectives

    • Learn how to develop a shared understanding of work through an interactive simulation

    • Explore the Scrum and Kanban frameworks and how they can enhance your team's ways of working

    • Explore main roles and their responsibilities

    At the end of our labs, you’ll be equipped with what is needed to start your journey aiming to meet and exceed your users, customers, stakeholders and your team needs!

  • This training is designed for

    • scrum masters, team facilitators, agile coaches, delivery managers, project managers

    • tech leads, engineering managers, developers, testers

    • product owners, business analysts, product managers

    that are “going agile” and willing to build a strong understanding of how to start or enhance their journey in a pragmatic way.

    It’s for people that would like to (re)think how they deliver value to their customers and are willing to tweak their processes and ways of working aiming to improve their experience and meet their needs.

  • The training will be conducted entirely online over the course of three (3) consecutive evenings in the form of two 4.5 hours learning labs.

    Each learning lab is highly interactive with hands on practice on specific use cases
